L2 Faucet now supports zkSync and OKX X1, bringing the total number of Layer 2 networks supported on the multi-chain faucet to 7. Users can attest their device to receive testnet tokens directly from the list of networks, including Arbitrum Sepolia, Scroll Sepolia, Base Sepolia, Optimism Sepolia, and Taiko Sepolia — No bridging required.

There is little doubt that scaling Ethereum is necessary to continue supporting the rapid growth of the network. Layer 2 solutions the likes of zkSync and OKX X1 can accommodate a growing number of users without the chain getting bogged down or being too expensive to use. Interacting with Layer 2 protocols, however, typically involves a tedious process of moving tokens back and forth between networks through bridges.

L2 Faucet leverages Proof of Machinehood to distribute testnet tokens without social verification methods or third-party downloads. Developers will be able to select and receive multiple tokens directly at one go without the need to navigate through multiple dashboards. Accessing testnet funds with a single-click attestation significantly reduces friction for developers when it comes to building within various testnet environments.

Additionally, L2 Faucet has also expanded its support for USDC across test networks. We’re excited to support developer activity and the growth of the overall Web3 ecosystem.

About Automata Network

Automata Network is a modular attestation layer that extends machine-level trust to Ethereum by leveraging optimistic rollups and zero-knowledge proofs in its Proof of Machinehood approach. The application-specific rollup allows on-chain verification for out-of-protocol computation, which creates an unbroken chain of trust that extends upwards through the entire Web3 stack.
