Automata’s Bi-Weekly Update: Issue 52

While we recover from an eventful Token2049 Singapore week — attending side events, talks, and meet-ups throughout the week — we also had the opportunity to host LayerUp together with our friends from Moonbeam, Scroll, and Celer Network. Topics of the day: ZK tech, Web3 BUIDLing, and MEV.
Tech
- Implemented and deployed Automata Verifiable Random Function (VRF)
- Improvements to site’s visual elements including navigation header and menu
- Open-sourced Automata’s TEE-builder
- Added 1RPC support for Injective
- Started work on 1RPC ecosystem page
- Added support for native USDC cross-chain transfers on Optimism via Circle CCTP
- Added tBTC support on Solana
Ecosystem
- Riding on the adrenaline of Token2049 Singapore week and F1 weekend, we took the opportunity to reconnect with partners in our onsite event, LayerUp, co-hosted with Moonbeam, Scroll, and Celer Network. It was a fruitful afternoon of conversations and a stacked lineup of panelists from Celer Network, Espresso Systems, zkSync, StarkWare, Linea, Consensys, Moonbeam, Injective, Babylon Chain, Kolibrio, imToken, Primev, Flashbots, and Blocknative. It was a pleasure to finally meet some of our partners face-to-face, instead of our usual virtual interactions.
- 1RPC integrated with Injective, providing users with an added layer of privacy with 1RPC. The dedicated RPC endpoint is https://1rpc.io/inj-rpc and the LCD endpoint is https://1rpc.io/inj-lcd.
- At the same time, we open-sourced our TEE-builder, written from scratch in Rust for Web3 developers. The TEE-builder opts for a light client model and ensures transaction confidentiality. More details can be found in this thread.
- Shawn from our BD team also represented Automata at NEAR APAC in Vietnam, sharing about privacy and security in Web3.
Community
- Supporting Injective on 1RPC was not limited to just an announcement — this occasion was celebrated with a Spaces discussion with Injective Head of BD, Mirza, where we talked about Web3 privacy for Layer-1s.
- We also organized a week-long 1RPC x Injective campaign on QuestN, giving out a commemorative NFT to our community.
- Then, we got together with our community with a Community Discord Quiz on the topic of Automata 2.0, rewarding 10 winners with some $ATA.
- Minted weekly, we published Privacy Matters #8 and #9 — subscribe if you haven’t!
- If you’re not already part of our community, join us on Discord for future calls and events: https://ata.ws/discord
About Automata Network
Automata Network is a modular attestation layer that extends machine-level trust to Ethereum by leveraging optimistic rollups and zero-knowledge proofs in its Proof of Machinehood approach. The application-specific rollup allows on-chain verification for out-of-protocol computation, which creates an unbroken chain of trust that extends upwards through the entire Web3 stack.
